thinking of taking a weeks holiday in october and riding the sustrans route 7 with he wife.
has anyone done it, in full from inverness to glasgow.

i have done some bits, and it seems very nice.

Never done it in full, but done a lot of it in sections. It's a lovely route, especially Killin to Aberfoyle and also Newtonmore to Aviemore.

it is a nice route. not the quickest way to get there but nice quiet cycle track and quiet roads. couple of sections are unsuitable for thin/slick tyres as it is more like fire road and the bit between balloch and glasgow isn't great but that is only 15 miles or so.

the section of the route between carlisle and glasgow is good too
