After attempting my first 16 mile commute today, I need some help on how to survive my first obstacle on the journey home; a HUGE roundabout where 2 A roads cross. Now I thought staying in the left hand side of the right hand lane (I'm turning right) was the correct thing to do......but then was nearly wiped out after a stupid woman undercut me! Help! I need to survive for the weekends!!

Are you indicating with your arm as you ride round?

Middle of the right hand lane for turning right never ever ride on the edge of a lane - take a whole lane and make eye contact with as many drivers as you can around you- however if its a fast roundabout with a lot of traffic and depending on the layout becoming a pedestrian for the junction might not be a bad idea.

You only need to indicate as you change lanes - don't try to indicate the whole way round

I'd go middle of the lane you said, so no one can try and undercut. A cyclist should be going a similar speed to the cars on a roundabout anyway, unless it's really huge, as we accelerate much more quickly.
