Mine have been great for several years but tonight I noticed that the left spacer thing had unscrewed. Hmm. Now how tight should it be? The website video show it being done up snugly with 2 spanners but mine only has flats by the free hub and nowt to grip opposite. Even finger tight seems too tight.

Also looking closely, the freehub drops into the body so deeply that it looks as if the stops on the end of the splines are within the hub thus allowing the cassette to touch the hub. Never even taken the cassette off until now since the day the were delivered. All was well until I took the wheel out and it wouldn't go back in as it was undone. Bright idea or experiences?

First question- snug, but not gorillad on.

Second- the axle isn't stepped and therefore doesn't keep the two hub bearings apart. The driveside hub bearing and the inner freehub bearing are separated by a spacer. As the bearings wear, the inner races can be pushed further out of line with the outers by the spacer so the freehub gets closer to the hub. New bearings needed I suspect
