Evening All
Anyone using the above wheels and if so what are your opinion's of them. Would they be over kill for a trail bike as I'm looking at some second hand and have seen them listed as dh/ freeride wheels. Are they really heavy?

yeah pretty much bombproof but heavy. loads of herts riders use them

About 600g aren't they?
Which I imagine is bombproof even for fat boys. I happily use 900g tyres on a 5.1 so it's swings and roundabouts to a degree.. since you could put a 600-700 trail tyre on such a rim.. though you would likely always get punctures.
