I am considering an SX trail, but is there something out there as good or better for doing the 'tolerable to ride up anything, great to ride down anything' stylee.... Heavier rider in the equation, but not clumsy. I am looking for something robust but peddalable. I have a Turner Highline in Large which I should have bought in medium in case anyone wants to do swapsies. ๐
Cheers Ed
Spesh Enduro Evo? Orange Alpine? Trek Scratch?
Theirs a 17" 09 one going cheap HERE if you are interested in one.
Transition Covert, Lappiere Spicy, Giant Reign, Spesh Enduro.
The new Enduro's are everything the old SX's were and more. I've had 2 SX's and now a new 2011 Enduro Expert and it's absolutely awesome. Lighter, climbs real well and descends like a downhill bike.
Intense Uzzi, Orange Alpine, Santa Cruz Nomad, Trek Scratch, Commencal Supreme Mini DH...
Scott Voltage FR?
Shame they won't bring in the 100mm Trail frame.
Intense Slopestyle. Is this the same Ed that normally nails everything on a Stiffee??
Hi Adam, yes it's Ed. ๐
If you have a stiffee then maybe back it up with a gspot? Goes up great, down is incredible!
My Last Herb AM. for sale in the classifieds ๐
In the tradition of just listing your own bike.... Pitch? Like an SX Trail but slightly less beefy/cheaper.
Orange Alpine, or hang on for the new Patriot.
Guy,
How was the Herb? Was seriously looking at this before I got the Mojo HD but there was no way of getting a demo. How come you are selling??
Cheers,
Adam (one of your first guests!!)
Also interested to hear about the Last Herb AM. Sounds like my kind of bike.
Is the 17'' frame a medium on an sx Trail?
Giant Reign X, like the Specialized SX Trail only better...
