I am hoping not, however it has rained quite a bit this last week and most of last night and this morning - generally the trails are OK but there are sure to be patches of gloop but I don't think they will be long sections.

"fizzer, given that's it's been raining pretty much solidly for the last week I'm expecting a lot of wet!"

last week spent riding full suss in the French/Swiss sunshine:D so maybe it's time for the H/T in the Yorkshire rain:cry:

Junkyard: Cheers, It is a 180mm rotor! woohoo, thanks, I've got a spoke key too, so I think we might have success one way or another. Excellent.

On the cake front, Rocky Road, now chilling in the fridge ๐Ÿ˜›

We have to have one of these STW rides every month, just to work off the cake from the one before!!!

With the amount that everyone is baking, you are going to put Mr Kipling out of business.

Really fancy coming but a seized caliper sort of putting a dampner on things. Might turn up on the cross bike. Any idea how long you expect to be out for?

seized caliper front or rear may as well bring a brake as well.
Avid Juicy any good?
E-mail me if you want me to bring one.
6 + hours due to the social nature of the ride , odd mechanical and obligatory serious injury.

Wet, muddy, some big climbs and a fair mileage. Absolutely loved it to bits a great day out. My first ride on the North Yorks Moors most certainly won't be my last. That kind of terrain is why I ride a mountain bike.

Big thanks to Dave for leading and to everyone for making me so welcome as the newbie of the group.

Just cleaned the bike and I reckon half the NY Moors is lying in my drive, the rest is in the shower basin!

Graham

PS how did you get into the car?
