I had better gets some miles in then. Not been on the bike since Spain (early Nov).

count us lot in, I think, hope the weather is better than this.

Just seen the location, ๐Ÿ˜€ any chance we can finish with Jenkins crag or Arnside intake? both great descents. ๐Ÿ˜†

"any chance we can finish with Jenkins crag or Arnside intake? both great descents"

Arnside intake,(Iron Keld) will be earlier on,I am planning to lead a 30 miler in a relativly small area, but, depending on how many come along may expand this a bit,Everyone very welcome but dont bring yer granny!

Would Loughrigg terrace do,to finnish? ๐Ÿ™„

Was going to say I have a nice route but I bow to the superior knowledge of GaVgAs

starting from Clappersgate.

Grid ref or some other streetmap type location would be good.

I am in if I can secure transport ๐Ÿ˜€

Likewise...I think we briefly met on the last wet puncture ridden ride โ—

Saw that parking area last time I was down, usually park along the riverside.
Looks like it could get congested if everyone turns up, there is room to double park there I think ๐Ÿ™

"Looks like it could get congested if everyone turns up, there is room to double park there I think"

Good point trekster, its not to far from Ambleside though, and theres plenty of parking on the back road to A593-Rydal,(were finishing on Loughrigg terrace)

It would be a good idea to ride to the start point if possible,I am not sure how many will come along but I am working on another leader just in case,Maybe you could lead a group Trekster if theres, erm, tonnes! ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

It is just a starting point, riders can park in Ambleside below Biketreks,or waterhead if they wish.(pay to park) ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

Been known to park up the top of town in amongst the houses above the park across from the garden centre:oops:

Maybe you could lead a group Trekster if theres, erm, tonnes!
If needs must. Will mail you the route/s I use.Probably near enough what you do but in different directions/combos. For my mates I try to keep big climbs to a min where possible/feasible.
