I just got an "Uh-oh" for a kom I didn't know I had. This is a bit odd as I've some how failed to notice my one and only KoM and, more to the point, it happened to be on a rare public ride.
Is there any way to tell how old a segment is does any one know? I'm wondering if the new KoM holder just created it to get them selves a trophy.

Hunt the segment down there, info page tells you segment creation date.
Is it named after a road? A long time back, strava used to auto-generate segments on climbs over a certain length and name them after the nearest road.
Not named after a road, there's a whole 14 people ridden the segment but its essentially a bit of farm track, to a bridleway then a big chunk of tarmac schlep, its an odd segment!
Having looked at who took the kom (name rang a bell) it's the vicar's husband. I didn't know he rode a mountain bike so I'll have to say hello next I see him.
Off the back of who took it, where it is and how few people have ridden it I'm now going to have to [s] cyber [/s] strava stalk them all and figure out if there's a secret village mtb club I'm not invited to. (it would make sense as they're all in the non-pub-going weirdos half of the village if there is.)
A bit of digging turned up nothing on the site n0b0dy0ftheg0at but it's an interesting one to have a look see at thank you.
I'm wondering if it's a private segment and glitched to show it me as looking at the ride log it's not showing on the other chap's achievements for the ride either. (though there's about 50 crowns on the one ride so maybe it's just too crowded)

Take it back, he'll forgive you......
Make sure your ride is visible to everyone not just followers too.

I think I set about 4 rides a year to public, part of the reason my having a kom was so surprising!
