So, an event I want to do is posting a route & segments up via Strava. I'm required to download the route to my GPS to navigate & Strava will record my segment times.
I believe downloading a GPX from Strava is a premium feature. Premium appears to be made up of: all access, training, safety & devices. Which one of these features allows me to download the GPX?
Not sure I'll regularly use it as I'm kinda happy with Endomondo as all I want to record is distance, time, ascent & descent. However the ability to download a GPX could be handy & the beacon feature sounds good.

I'm not sure you can download any old GPX even if you're a premium member unless it's your trace or you are tagged in it. I guess the event organisers will tag you then you can download it. Click on the spanner icon and 'export GPX'
Easy! You don't have to be a premium member but you can only do it on activities of people you follow. It does require a few steps though.
Click on the activity you want a GPX of. There's a spanner icon on the left, click on this and you'll have a couple of options, click on "Create a route" and Strava takes you to their Route Creator page. You can now save this "new" route in your own library. From here you can view it and export it as a GPX file
There are Chome extensions that allow you to download anyone's gpx
Yup, Doogย +1
I successfully installed a chrome extension recommended on here to do just that (and have used it) and I'm not great with technology these days. I can look out the name of it if needed when I'm next near my PC...
