Well in a sense the race was a bit boring really. Pog destroyed them!
The women's race was much more entertaining, but what a performance!
I think Alaphilippe could teach some top tier footballers a thing or two about diving. Brilliant head-tuck and arms in for the OTB, followed by a "merd, everyone's about to land on moi" dive out the way.

Fabulous races today in different ways. It’s hard to get a sense from the TV pictures just how undulating this race is and how steep some of the climbs are. Tadej made it look so easy although even he looked like he was struggling at the top of the climb into Sienna.
Merckx has said that Pogacar is the next Merckx. Something I don't think he has said about anyone else and looks like he will be right.
