no doubt many of us got the email about these today, a 340gm 26" rim (the Alpine being 325gm) and more interestingly for me, the 29er version at 370gm - lighter than the roadie standby Open Pro by 55gm.
I'll be emailing the to see if they will take road tubeless three, anyone else thinking along these lines?

Not sure what that means, but it occurred to me they'd make good disc equipped CX wheels.

Yeah, I've seen the Alpha and it would do the job but if I'm running discs (which I am) I really don't want a machined sidewall (purely cosmetic I admit)
