Right folks, quick update for the single speed uk champs. The event is comming together nicely and entries filling very quickly so we should be well within our goal of not only holding a really rather jolly event but also giving a significant amount of cash to midlands air ambulance and to a couple of cancer charities close to our hearts. ( for those that don't know, each uk champs is not run for profit and any money left at the end of the event goes to good causes)
some amazing sponsor involment means that there are some epic prizes in the prize pile already and lots more to come.
more importantly the race couse is challenging with a nice range of easy detours for those riding death traps, too drunk or just too scared. 20 miles of fast and furious action for the racey types 🙂

There will be breakfast available from the cafe on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
REAL ALE BAR OPEN 12. till late Friday....4.00 pm,till late Saturday.
hot food available from cafe most of the weekend.
BIKE WANGING WILL OCCUR,don't know exactly when as yet..
there will be guided rides,Friday,Saturday,and Sunday,maybe one night ride (Friday)if enough peeps want,so bring yer lights.
T shirts (enough for any one who wants one) and cycle jerseys (very uber niche,20 only) orders open via Taz very soon.

From a meeting with a couple of sponsors this morning i can also add that there is a load more going jnto the prize kitty including some super pimp rare as chuff ss hubs, some divine stuff for fans of ink and we may even have the tattoo sponsors on site with a mobile licence to sort some uber cool work for folks on a pre booked basis..so you can turn up as newbie and leave and a hardened, gnarly beer swilling fire spitting, tattooed single speed machine with many hundreds of pounds of niche.
For those that ride competitively there will be a couple of gorgeous trophies and some decent prize swag as well...for the rest of the mere mortals..loads of goodies and probably a much bigger hangover. .the beer sponsor does make an exceedingly good pint!
