[#4314415]

I have a wide bodied Superstar Components cog that I plan to use for a short while on a Hope Pro II Freehub.

Is this a no no or should I be fine?

The plan is the SS part will only be temporary whilst I source/save for a new drive chain .....

Why wouldn't it work? It'll be fine.

It should be ok. Although you may need to get a file out when you are done!

It will work fine, but it may well dig a nice notch in your free-hub.

That's the set-up I use and it's fine. No real marks to the freehub body either after a couple of years.

The freehub isn't perfectly concentric (I thought it was the cog at first) so I get a little bit of chain tightening and slackening through a revolution but it's fine so long as the chain doesn't get too loose.

Thanks peeps.

Apologies- I know it all fits together fine but didn't know what the likelihood of digging in might be.
