Hmmmmm so since we can safely presume X9 and X0 are going to be ten speed as well that means I'll be able to have a very nice 2x10 Hammerschmidt X0 set up, oh that sounds good!
Not sure I want to pay the full whack for XX though.
Anyone else got any ten speed plans at the back of their mind?

I've got XX already, I wouldn't specifically bother to upgrade to 10 speed.

I like the idea of 2x10 but don't like the idea of forking out for all that kit to discover I would really like a granny ring... I'm not sure I see the point of 30 gears so would want to go double crank or nothing.. I think.

Was more thinking of when I need to replace rather than just for the sake of it, may not need it but that's never stopped an upgrade.
How you finding the XX then?

1x10 sounds good to me

I think 10 speed makes 1x10 quite viable for a lot of people. I like my 1x9 (32F 11-32R).

XX is good, not earth shattering, but good! The brakes are very impressive, and the front shifting is excellent.

1x10 appeals, tempted to try it I must admit!

I'll be needing some drivetrain stuff soonish, so I'll hang on and do a 1x10 with a chain device. Nice!
