I killed a mech cage on Sunday at Ardrock and I'm weighing up whether to try and repair or replace. I'm leaning toward replace but hold the body for later and try to pick up a cheap, straight non clutch mech for the cage at some point.
Question though: SRAM's carbon cages. Is there a strength / durability / crash resistance advantage or is it purely weight and looks?
Ta!
