I see Wiggle is declaring this part to be 'discontinued', surprised as surely there must still be loads of bikes using 8 speed chains?

KMC do them and they're identical as far as I can see
bar having KMC/SRAM stamped on 'em

they still make the chain and the links are still on fishers web site so they must still be available

That just means discontinued supply by wiggle, not SRAM. Try CRC or even ebay
