Got this on a new bike and the front has a fair bit of travel before it bites compared to the rear. Is it simply a matter of peeling back the hoods and adjusting the reach to get it to bite, or am I going to have to bleed it?

Hydraulic brakes? Remove the wheel and pull the lever, I have to do this with my shimano mtb ones if they bike has been upside down, normally 4-5 times, refit wheel, sorted. If they need bleeding badly I would have thought they would be spongy/random etc

If the reach adjustment is the same then they could do with a bleed.
I did mine yesterday and it's about 5mm off the other side, which is annoying.
