[#11915501]

Today I rode up a hill for 40 minutes just started to go downhill and had a pedal strike on left side.pedal ended up at a dodgy angle so ride cut short.Got home took pedal off of the crank and it's ripped the threads off the crank arm.Its sram nx 175mm crank,I need one pretty sharpish.I can't seem to find a sram nx 11spd crankset new on net,and eBay is looking expensive and a few days off auction ending.
Is there any bodge that I could do,a mate has a welding kit,and I was also thinking possibly epoxy resin. After the knock the pedal isn't in great shape either so not fussed about potentially damaging it any more.Cheers

My advice is to get a new crank.

You could get a steel threaded insert fitted for about £25

Long term, buy some XT cranks, that's what I did.
