[Closed] Square taper to hollowtech2 axle?

I might buy your middleburn when you realise it can't be done as I've just gone back to square taper rather than external 🙂

Just get a Phil Woods square taper BB? cheaper and better.

Sounds horrendous. You'd have a really wide axle with a very abrupt step from 24mm round to go through the bearings to the square taper. As said no way to preload the bearings either.

I'll be blunt:

It won't work. Forget it.

Stick with one standard or another. There's not much wrong with HT2 or SQT, both have small disadvantages and big advantages.
