[Closed] Specialized Stumpjumper Comp M2 rear spacing?

Just helping my brother with his, and it seems the rear spacing is 144, which is obviously causing some problems.

Any hints, tips or facts that might help?

It isn't. They're 135.

That was exactly my first reaction. However, there is some compelling visual evidence to the contrary.

So someone's flexed the stays out at some stage then. No cracking or paint cracks though.

Clamp a wheel in it. What it measures without a wheel is irrelevant. If you can't get a 135mm wheel to clamp then it's bent. They were 135.

They were definitely 135, I had one.
Have you tried putting a wheel in?
