I have a pair of Spesh Comp mtb shoe with 3 velcro straps across for closure. The top strap that does most of the securing is starting to split where it goes through the metal 'loop', but the shoes have only seen a couple of years and are in good nick elsewhere.
I had this with an older pair too and when I tried to stich them, they just split along the line of the stitching.
Anybody got any recommendations on how to fix?(apart from buy a pair with a buckle closure!)
