Hi All,
I have a Specialized allez from about 4 years ago. It has unbranded hubs, I guess they are Specialized own brand?
The bearings in the rear wheel are rough, opened it up today to find the drive side were worn, non drive side still shiny.
The question is what size would the bearings be? They looked about 3mm in diameter, but I dont have any calipers or other accurate way of measuring.
I would guess they are a standard size?
Any help would be appreciated!
Cheers
Al.
I assume you mean loose bearings, not cartridges? Just go into your LBS, take one with you, they'll know and sell you some for about £1.
Yes they are loose!
No luck on Chainreaction, they only have pedal bearings.
Looks like they are 1/4 inch ones from a bit more research.
Apparently most common for a rear wheel is 9 of these per side.
