Afternoon All,
I was knocked off my bike last week and now I need some recommendations for bike aware lawyers / law firms who will sort me out for my mangled shoulder and buckled bike.

This is the really stupid thing, I was insured to the hilt with cycleguard and let is lapse due to Christmas expenses - I know, I know, idiot that I am.

The back of Cycling Weekly is a good place to start, there's usually adverts for no-win-no-fee [s]vultures[/s] law firms in there.

Are you covered for any injury under an extension of your house or life insurance? Do you have a health insurance plan through work?

As cp says, best bet is to join British Cycling or CTC, both are excellent for sorting out this kind of thing (but they won't help if you're a non-member...)

The BCF use Leigh & Day solicors, who are very good. You could phone them an see if they will take your case on. As I understand it they basically take the BCF cases on on a no win no fee basis.
