Advice please. Contemplating having a go at the South Pennine ring starting in Manchester. Firstly, is it worth the effort? Is there a best direction to do it in? is it all ridable? any particularly bad bits etc. Is navigation straightforward over the tunnels?
Going to get the train up from Liverpool first thing and hoping to be sat in Canal Street having a well earned pint by late afternoon. Hopefully not attracting too much attention sheathed in lycra!
