Hello ,
Going to the South Downs on Saturday,
could anyone tell me how gloopy it is after the rain this week please?East Lavington to Steyning area.
Does it dry out quickly?

Thanks.
J.

was absolute slop when I went out near Devils Dyke last night. the rooty singletrack was a slitherfest.

at least it's so runny it doesn't really stick too badly so the frame doesn't get all blocked up.

It's sunny today though so it could get claggy, I guess.

sorry if I'm making it sound bad. The 'challenging' condtions made it quite fun in a 'ahhhh! ooohh! eeeeh! thank god I got through that' kind of way, though.

It was looking like it might dry out fairly quickly but now it's raining again...

That was some downpour. I always know it's bad when the top of Bear road disappears into the cloud.
