after a few good placings in the local CX series Im looking to do a bit more racing further afield and need to replace my chainset (as its on its last legs - ie chain skipping) - its an old truvativ with GXP BB
Quick question though the shimano CX70 crankset, would I be better off getting an XTR bottom bracket (cups) or is there something better, ie hope, crank bros etc... Im assuming the Ultegra or Dura Ace road ones arent going to last long in mud....

Dura-Ace ones last forever. I had three seasons out of the last pair on my race bikes and the current pair are on their second season without issue.
