[#5925116]

I posted recently about the trouble I was having getting the non disc side flange off a Maverick hub. It's pretty certain that I would need a replacement flange, as I'll end up destroying the old one, and the bearings are going to need a change soon.

There must be plenty of people who used to have Maverick forks, and have still got the old wheel knocking about. Postierich, Merlinman, I'm sure used to ride them.

It's my son's bike so I don't want to spend loads on that new hub off eBay, but I'll pay what it's worth.

Hope do them for a reasonable price (Or at least used to). I think some DT Swiss hubs can be easily converted to 24mm too.

The rest of the hub is fine - I just need a spare flange. I don't want to rebuild the wheel.

I saw a Raleigh Maverick at the tip the other day. Would you like me to pop back and see if it's still there?

Not that sort of maverick as I guess you already knew. 🙂
