My scandal has the ones that On One used to job out at £100 & i've been looking on their site & it seems that their new £800 carbon ones are only about 100g lighter tho.
Can someone recommend any others? I think hope hoops are available in 29er but i haven't found any weights.

That'd be my choice! Or if you want a really light set look at the Stans ZTR Race 29ers.

I have a set of the Fulcrum Red Metal XLR's on my Scandal.

They weigh around 1800g and are tubless ready, no need for rim tape and they come with valves.

I've got Stan's 3.30 hubs laced to 29er Crest rims on my TD-1...I love em.

They weigh 1520g on my scales.
