Props to Kerr qualifying in 3rd....best quali in a long time. So much for those saying he's not a professional athlete in the Warner thread.
Frenchies fest as usual.
Did Finn f-up to be alongside Cathro and Wynn in the start gate?

Should be a good race.

Goldstone is crazy fast.

The added bonus is that I've started drinking at 12:30 (£3.60 a pint at the Wheatsheaf!) so I'll be mucky drunk by the time they set off.

Yes looking forward to this one, track looks like a nightmare in these conditions though compared to last year. Perhaps Hart will do well? He’s been simmering away just under podium level for a while. I expect if Pierron does well that’s the overall winner decided, it’s looked like it’s been his all season tbh.

Women's top 10 just started.

I would hate to ride this track it looks lethal.

Ideally it would still be raining because that sun is going to turn it into a sticky bog.

Wow tight racing in the womens. Can’t remember ever seeing such a sketchy track. Sure we’ve had some pretty bad mud bath races over the years, but this track is super rocky, and it looks like someone’s been squirting fairy liquid on the track from from the way they’re sliding about, almost zero traction😳

Track has dried out a lot since the women's race started, I reckon Pierron will win this by a fair bit

Another incredible race.
Women's was great to watch.
Men's was another level, gutted but also chuffed for BK.

The overall is one man's to lose now!

That was crazy, thought Kerr had it until Peirron crossed the line.

Incredible difference between the conditions and therefore speed of the womens and then mens race.

Glad BK has finally got a podium, maybe it will boost him for the next race

Should be good to see his vlog later

Wow.

Great racing in the men's. Kerr's reaction and interaction with other riders was nice to see.
Dunne looked over the moon!

Women's was almost embarrassing to watch at times.

Some good XC racing in some really shitty conditions. The men's race was really good.
