Another ride made difficult by the snow ! Started out from Porlock and up Hawkscombe then out onto the moor only to find snow blocking the road/trail. John got fed up with pushing and getting wacked in the legs by his spds as we pushed through the deep snow ! I rode the last 3 miles or so with no chain , good job it was all downhill. We missed out the best trails knowing they wouldnt be rideable. Shame for Charlies maiden Exmoor ride. Anyway we finished the day with coffee and cakes in a small tea room in porlock. Comments ?

Mrs Rex says "So you couldn't think of any better way to spend Valentine's day?"

Ah well, at least we got some fresh air ๐Ÿ˜‰

no (mtb) riding available here due to the snow (NE Scotland) although a few days at Glenshee beckon for alternative riding.

hey simon, this was the ti456's third outing and i still don't feel like i've given it a proper thrashing...but already i wonder how much action the 6pack is going to see this year.

knottie: pinholing tomorrow, will send you the results if we get anything decent.
