Had the best day's biking I've had in a long time today. Finally took up a long-standing invitation to go and ride somewhere special. Met a cool bunch of like-minded souls and ticked off a few firsts for me - first (admittedly tiny) ladder drop, first ladder gap jump, and first step-down gap jump.
Still buzzing now hours later - thanks again to those who made it possible!

Coolest thing was so many of us doing new stuff and pushing what we could do. Was ace seeing the girls' (and mine and Mike's) grins after hitting the Smoke gap - even if we did have that little 'helper'in there.

I had a great ride yesterday too. Knackering but good.
The trails have finally shed the majority of the mud and are now riding the best since early september.
