Morning all - above says it all really - I'm sure it should work, but has anyone tried it and can advise either way? Just fitted a new Sunrace 11-46 cassette, then mangled the 10 speed mech.... perfect timing!

If you mean with a 10s shifter, I ran an XT 11s mech with an XT 10s shifter & cassette (with expander). Worked much better than the 10s mech with RAD cage.

Yep, all 10 speed, except it is an SLX front shifter I think (not that that should make any difference) - cheers Fathomer. I'm looking at the SLX specifically as that is supposed to go up to a 46T on a 1x set-up, which is what I have.

You want the 11spd SLX mech, not the 10spd version.

The 11 goes up to 46t sprocket, whereas the 10 only 36t (officially)

Ah just realised that they do a 10-speed in the M7000 range, but I meant the 11 speed anyway - cheers
