Thinking of acquiring a charge plug 1 for winter cx duties and it's a 120mm track rear spacing. Looking for wheels that could handle a 33c tyre and not weigh the earth? And not cost it either.

Best thought so far was Planet X/novatec track hubs laced to h plus son rims??

Surely they do? Most get used as town bikes?

I ride my miche track hubs all year round. I don't think they's hold up well to CX, but they are easy to service. Mine are built onto Open Pros for a fixed road bike. Nuts rust though ๐Ÿ™

All the track hubs I have used have had sealed bearings and also used them all mostly off road all year round and they stood up fine.
(not surprisingly as well as a sealed bearing in an MTB hub)

The On-One / Planet-X hubs have been fine for me, off-road in mucky conditions. The bearings are exposed but are sealed units.

Cheap, Stong (enough), Light (enough): http://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/HUOOLF/on-one-large-flangetrack-hub

Just noticed on my link that the picture is rear, but the description is front... Watch out for that ๐Ÿ˜‰
