Not enough clearance for a normal bottle cage so how well do side access types work off-road? Looks the bottle could escape more easily?

I've generally found all bottle cages to be a bit hopeless off road.

No, mine are I think Bontrager and I have never lost one. On one bike I can fit two! Will see if I can find a linky.

I think I have one kicking around in the garage, from the time I had my Spesh FSR. Do you want it? It's not as swish as that Bonty one tho.
