twang - yep, a very original Microlight. Not so light by todays ultra-lightweight standards, but it's stood up to some really foul weather.

montylikesbeer - a Spaccepacker? Brilliant design. I with Saunders would bring out a modern equivalent using lighter weight materials.

Ton,

I have a Vango TBS micro 100 if you're interested - same as this:

http://www.discountbicycles.co.uk/jshopfiles/Tents.htm

I used it for one night only and it is as new. £65

Used to have a great Colman Phad x2, watch the clip & see what happened to it!

Trust us to pick the weekend and location that Worcestershire decided to become one big lake 😉

Gordy do you ever use the Akto without the inner? Is it warm enough in Summer? Planning to wild camp as a 2 this summer and this would save weight.

Just out of interest, the shots of tiny tents in the back of beyond (awesome photos by the way) - are you strictly speaking allowed to camp in those sorts of locations or do you have to be a bit cheeky?
