So, I recently got a 2010 Rockhopper Expert, and I'm looking to make a few upgrades. Be really interesting to see what other people have changed on theirs (with pics if possible).

2009 Comp. Not many upgrades mind, got distracted by a FS before I had much chance. Used mainly for road and cycle tracks really now. Poor thing is a bit neglected.

... and a Neopguard crud catcher thing on the front forks to stop me getting freckles, fitted after that pic was taken.
My plan is to go with red metallic bits as I upgrade (like the saddle QR in Andituk's pic). Got my eye on Hope Doctor bar ends, once I work out how to fit them onto non-lockon grips...

cougar, red upgrades work well. Except chainring bolts, which are decidedly pink

Shiny, aren't they. (-: Started out black and red, they're now black and red with silver pedalstrike gouges *coughs*.
Got the green Acids for OH's Marin Eldridge Grade at the same time - white bike with green highlights on the decals, the pedals look proper nice. I tried to talk her into getting the fluorescent green ones but she was having none of it.
This was mine last year, I've since sold it as I found it too long. Probably needed the 17" version, this is a 19.

Nice frame, really light compared to what I've got now.
I was gonna get some v12s for mine this week, but can't decide what colour. I have the silver '10 expert. Whatever pedals I get will set the tone for future upgrades. Never seen the acids before, they look great.

Anyone own a '98 Rockhopper in 'Grabber Green'?
I just love the colour, have thought about buying one a few times but really don't need it!
Now has Wellgo MG1's on as the Shimano DX's lasted less than a year. Currently over East being "looked at" so maybe fixed under warranty (and promptly stuck on eBay)
Ti seatpost from some far away person. New BB, everything else bog standard. Used every day to ride to work and back, pub bike, town bike. Pretty much anything.

Yes. I liked the colour of mine til I saw his. Now I think mine looks gharish, like a fair isle jumper or something. B*gger. I keep driving past a powder coaters. Might have to pop in.
