CAADX Ultegra, turned up last week 🙂
I've stuck a Fizik post and Tundra 2 on, and some CX70\Ultegra brakes.

I've haven't even tried a CX bike before but I thought I'd give it a bash, it should make the local offroad more interesting as well as being able to link them up with some road sections.

What are the brakes O355?

Fibre, I've just got one of those, taking it offroad for first time tomorrow night. Why did you change the brakes btw? standard no name things seem alright on the blacktop.

It was a little bit short for me so I've built a Roadrat out of it to tide me over, shame as it rode absolutely lovely otherwise 🙁 Scandium and carbon frame, lurvely.

most of those are way too clean for my liking, come on, these are offroad bikes that like deep mud! 😉

Anybody got a SS CX bike? Thinking that as my gears are slipping I might ditch the gears.

Topps you git, that's the exact bike/build I wanted but realised it'd take me too long to savefor the frame 🙁

Sorry to hijack, but I'm just building up a Croix de Fer - what do the experts think about compact drop bars vs normal (ergo?). Also, what tyres for the road? 28mm Gatorskins seem a good idea. I know nothing about 'The road'

Don't blame you Topps, first dibs on the frame if you ever move it on

That's extremely nice Federalski- what frame's that? (and what's going on with the wheels?)

Cheers. It's a Fixie Inc Pure Blood. Got the frame 2nd hand on ebay cheap a year or so back.
Now you mention it the wheels do have a bit of a Pringles thing going on... Just my wonky camera angle.

Here's mine - stock Boardman CX apart from Thompson Stem (mtb one) and layback seatpost. The wheels are Pacenti CL25 on Superstar Tesla.
Rotors are Ahima AirRotors.

Don't really get on with SRAM Apex. Feels cheap and clunky. It's light and does the job though. BB is dire, but then I haven't really heard anything good about any BB30 product.

Stock but for brakes (cx70) and wheels (Fulcrum).

It was more their mightyness I was curious about! World's fist free-crosser?

Ahaa, I originally had Mavic Open Pro's built up, still have the front.
But the back took a bit of a beating and got a bit wobbly.

I had the Halo's sitting about, I think I bought them off here so though I'd get them built up for this
.
I think they look nice, almost like deep sections at a glance...
They are pretty bombproof, and I'm cool if they are a bit heavier than other rims.
