For those of you with waist lines of 40" or more, what brand of shorts and pants do you use? I struggle to find anything large and baggy enough to be comfortable for day riding that can accommodate a 40" waist.
42" waist here and I've just started to buy Mace baggies. The XXL fits really well and i think it looks good as well. 😀
I also buy DHB lycra as i find that's a good fit as well in XXL although i did buy some Trek lycra shorts in XL a few years ago and they were fantastic.
Tried Endura baggies in the past and they are quite snug.
Will be sticking to Mace stuff in the future as they seem to cater for the more ample frame and come with proper buttons rather than silly hooks and velcro 😉
I've just bought some XXL Endura Humvee 3/4 length shorts, off out for my first ride in them today so will report back on their performance later. They felt fine when I tried them on.
Thanks for the tips - just noticed that one of my locals sells Mace so will pop rounds tomorrow and try a pair on.
