Hi hi again.
question:
shock eye reducers (giant trance, but thats irrelevant) are aluminium.
bushings are steel?
if my shock is knocking (and it is), will i need to change the reducers as well as the bush?
alu isnt exactly hard wearing when it comes to friction?
or are bushings not steel, are they cheese? that may make more sense.....
Its a fox RP2 btw, a 1/2" bush remover wont make me cry when it arrives will it (ive ordered it, i THINK i measured the eye right....)
Many thanks
no
errrr......
1/2" is what you need if I remember correctly. Have a look on BETD
I replaced both the bush and the reducers recently, however you may get away with just the bush. The hula hoop ones seem good.
ive ordered a betd tool, which comes with a hulahoop.
being a trance its only got a bush at one end too (which i initially though was an awful idea, but now ive seen how it works, its quite a crafty way of avoiding having to replace 2 bushes)
If your alloy reducers are stuffed, then try one of These. (Other makes are available, though my BETD one knocked)
