Im using a 30.9 seatpost shimmed to 31.6 in my solaris. All was fine to start with but now im finding the post/shim creaks in the frame and post slips.
Ive some finish line fiber grip which ive used in the past with carbon builds but im guessing though this is no good with a steel frame? Can anyone recommend me anything to try to get rid of the creaks and slippage.

No problem using Fibre Grip on steel/alu interfaces - all dropper posts recommend its use regardless of frame material.
