I vaguely remember reading something in the release hype for the new Shimano Saint & Zee Shadow + shifters and mechs that you would be able to reduce the number of gears. I only ever use about 3 or 4 gears on the DH bike and really don't fancy running 10 speed but love the Shadow +.
Has anybody successfully reduced the number of gears?
