quick question, if i were to replace my broken saint m810 lever with one of the new xtr m988 levers would i lose any braking power/modulation? thanks

Have you actually tried this Terry? The new XTR levers have a much smaller reservoir and the XTR system as a whole uses less fluid than previous set ups. There have been concerns that using a new lever with an old calumet would mean insufficient fluid flow to work properly.
