Good day all.

Does anyone know what size and more importantly thread pitch a Shimano b screw is?

No, but the std (coarse) pitch (M4) is 0.7mm, fine is 0.5mm.

So the usual advice is to find an existing B screw, count 10 threads and see what distance that equates to.

Length of standard Shimano one's around 12.5mm. Thread pitch 0.8mm. Used longer M4 cap head bolts before now, easier to adjust.
