Off to Sherwood Pines at the weekend for first time, what are conditions there like?
Am i going to be all over with RR's on? Or is it nice and hard packed?
don't know those tyres but i've been today and it's nice and dry, no rain forcast by the w/e either
I went on a soaking wet day and the only slippy thing was the wall ride, the rest of it you could ride on a semi slick-yep not impressed!
I ride around there on either Panaracer xc's or Conti speed kings, depends on which bike i'm on!
Conti's work fine this time of year.
Rode it today on Nics. Ralphs would have been perfect.

Last time I was there i loaned a mate my mountain bike and rode it on my road bike. It was ok*. It had been completely dry for about a week or so.
*until I got a bit over confident and tried to carry my speed, panicked, braked and had both wheels lock, without loosing much speed while hurtling towards a jump.
