I was there on Tuesday it was bloody great, finish work early and pedal in the warm sunshine, did 2 laps just for the fun of it.
I know this doesn't help you but you reminded me of a nice day last week. 😀
I have fire xc pro's on and for the most part was slipping and sliding on the dusty trails was struggling to get any grip. Oh yes and Clixbys were in doing a bit work
I was there most of today and sure there is some places where you'll find soft going, but most of the trails are fair to good. No tyre change needed. Have fun.
We were out of the bottom end at about 6am thing morning and was riding through lots of axle deep puddles. These were trails that most people don't ride though. The main forest singletrack was fine.
Oh, and on racing-ralphs the going was fine.
