[#400741]

Planning a trip, for first time, on Thursday. From reading some of the previous threads I get the impression that the red route is not very well signposted.

Any tips as to the best way to approach it would be most welcome. Intending to do a blast for a couple of hours.

The new Kitchener Trail now has signs, start is across the car park (opposite side to shop).

Yeah, don't head towards where's obvious! Stand in the car park and face the shop/cafe and the start is behind you. Dead easy to follow after that!
Enjoiy, it's tame but i enjoy it the more i ride it TBH

The faster you hit it, the more fun it is. Make sure you do the 'downhill' section to the right hand side of the bike park bit. Top fun!

riding tonight, will let you know of conditions later. best way to ride there is start on the kitchener and follow it round for so long, then follow your nose off to the right at any point....." all roads lead to rome " as they say

Conditions are fantastic at the moment, went up on monday & hasn't rained since. Really dry & fast.
Kitchener trail is all signed now, 1st section of northshore is being built, has been done in the last week or so.
'DH' bit is more fun on the r/h track, much nicer/faster lines on that one.
