The rear Bonty 29-3 would be good to use back and front

Tony, might be worth considering Conti Race Kings. I've a set on a 29er and they seem to perform well enough on and off road ... but obviously everything in life is a compromise 😉

Small Block 8's roll nicely, at about 45psi. There was a chap selling a pair of narrower CX versions yersterday for £20. Might be worth a look.

Has your Swift been born yet ?
Keen to hear your thoughts on it...

Hi Ton,

Used Vulpines in Thailand, and punctured so often it drove me to tears.

After that experience I invested in Schwalbe Marathon XR's (2.0) and they have survived 18 months Ethiopian riding.

They seemed fine on most surfaces- never really tried them off road in muddy conditions though.

Cheers P
:o)
