Anybody else have a Maxle-Lite that comes loose during/after riding? How do you keep it tight?
Loc-tite?
The only problem I've had with mine is that when on too tight its a bugger to get off. The lever actually bent the housing and it still would not release. So I'm not sure about lock tight.
Loc-tite may not be the best-bet then...It's a real PITA, the original Maxle I had on the Pikes never came loose.
There might be a little allen bolt in the lever.. Tighten it a bit, did this with my Maxle and it stopped coming undone.
My axle is always tight, but the lever works itself free every so often - I just zip-tied the thing in place.

This. There's two I think, one for the lever cam tension and one for some other tension.
I can only find one allen-bolt(lever-end. I will give that a go later on although to be honest I don't think it will take any more tension...
Unless I take out the allen-bolt and loctite that...Hmmm...
Cheers for your replies.
My bad, 'tis only one - just checked mine.
I had the same problem, until I overtightened it and snapped the thing. The latest version seems a lot better.
I had a terrible time with mine running loose , I tried tightening the Allen key but made no difference , I cleaned all the grease of mine and that stopped it running loose !
