i have a shimano m572 (deore lx) crankset.

i want to fit some self-extracting crank bolts... can this be done?

i was thinking of these:-

will they work?

Look right to me. The extractor in the crank is normally the same for sq taper or octalink, the bolts look right for octalink too.
