A group of around eight of us are looking at either Exmoor or the Quantocks as an option for a MTB weekend on 25th-27th April.

It would be great to get away from the trail centres, but we would need a Guide. Does anyone have someone they can recommend?

You don't need a guide for Quantocks, just do a bit of research on here and look at the map. I'm no expert as I've only ridden there once but the setup/layout is quite straightforward it's just knowing best routes up/down and how to link together

Not done the Quantocks with them as yet (though I'd like to!) but rode with them in Spain and also just met up for a freindly ride in Swinley. nice people and i think they know their stuff.

If you want Exmoor, I can recommend Rob Clay at Wildbike.

Cheers Gents I will contact both of these outfits.

jambalaya - I have ridden in the Quantocks years ago and I know what you mean, a guide isn't vital. But it doesn't half make it easier. especially in a group.
